At Chatham Community Church, we stand as a testament to the enduring power of faith and community. Our journey began over a century and a half ago when two congregations, Chatham United Church of Christ and Chatham United Methodist Church, laid their roots in the heart of Chatham in 1834 and 1838, respectively.

In 1991, we took the momentous step of merging into a singular entity, Chatham Community Church, while maintaining our cherished connections to the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ. As a "Federated Church," our allegiance to both denominations remains steadfast, and we proudly support their missions and ministries.

Our Church buildings date to the mid-1800s and are unique examples of church architecture at the time.

Join us at Chatham Community Church, where the spirit of unity and a rich history of faith come together. We invite you to be a part of our welcoming congregation, where the past, present, and future converge in the name of faith, hope, and love. Come experience the warmth of our community and the inspiration of our faith. We can't wait to welcome you to our church family!

Chatham Community Church is God-centered, sharing Christ’s love through worship, fellowship, and service.
